December 3rd - Mele Kalikimaka

Finally a finished image! Mele Kalikimaka - the hawaiian way of saying Merry Christmas and also a song from the 1950's by Bing Crosby and the Andrew's Sisters.

With Hawaii in mind. AMAZING illustrator Brittney Lee has done a series of illustrations based upon the gods and goddesses of Hawaii and this is my favourite one of the six. STUNNING!

December 2nd - Frosty the Snowman

Apologies for not posting yesterday. Hardly the most auspicious of starts but I was a busy be this weekend.

Anyway...here's Frosty!

December 1st - Fat Lil Robins

First up...a couple of lovely festive robins! My mum described them as fat little hamsters one year and it stuck. Robins are indeed fat lil sods!

I will be finishing this...promise!!

Advent

December first is finally here and I can reveal what my plan is...

...the first annual Jaffa fan advent calendar. Everyday up until Christmas I'm going to produce some kind of festive illustration for you all to look upon in amazement and wonder. Alongside this I also hope to post an interesting design  link that ties in with said illustration.

So, that's the plan! I have a feeling the illustrations for this weekend aren't going go be my best (currently galivanting around London) But will attempt to revisit the sketchier ones at a later date.

The blog that dares peep into the darkest recesses of my mind. Full of all things orange and chocolate with a bit of design gubbins thrown in for good measure.
